Ms. Praseetha R. Nair is a doctoral fellow in Prof. G.S. Sailaja’s team at the Department of Polymer Science and Rubber Technology since January 2017. She received her Bachelor’s degree in chemistry and Master’s degree in Analytical chemistry with good academic records. Then, she joined Prof. Sailaja’s group in January 2017 as a doctoral fellow and focussed on the extraction of medicinal plants and development of biodegradable polymeric scaffolds for bone tissue regeneration. She has been awarded KSCSTE- Back to Lab fellowship for her Ph. D. programme.

Research interests

Bone regeneration, Biodegradable polymeric scaffolds, Cell-material interaction, Medicinal plants, Natural fiber.
